About Casey, MSW, LSW

casey Casey Lunstead is NJ Licensed Social Worker (44SL06017100). She graduated with honors from Rutgers University, New Brunswick with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2011, and completed her Masters of Social Work at Rutgers University, Camden in 2014. Casey is currently pursuing her clinical licensure and is under supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Casey’s professional experience includes working with older adults and their families in both health care management and hospice settings, helping them to navigate the challenges of chronic or terminal illness and caregiving. She also has experience with providing counseling services to those coping with grief and the loss of a loved one.


As a therapist, Casey’s goal is to foster a warm, welcoming space for individuals to safely share their stories and the personal challenges they are facing. She believes in empowering individuals’ ability to self-heal and attain their definition of success by focusing on a growth mindset and the unique strengths of each client. Her therapeutic approach incorporates techniques from modalities such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, emotion-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Casey has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, chronic illness, and stress management.
